This was a spin away from the normal Deveraux style. I was surprised and pleased by the skill in which Ms. Deveraux brought the criminal element into the novel. This book will not please the typical Deveraux romance reader but, if you're into the history of jazz and the speakeasies of the time, crime and mystery, this is a very entertaining read.Get more detail about Sweet Liar.
