In the process of setting up new literacy stations in my kindergarten classroom, I reviewed many resources. I wanted to incorporate Nursery Rhymes into the poetry station and I know Dr. Jean CDs are very popular with the children. This book comes with the mini-books for each nursery rhyme and the CD with the songs. I enlarged each mini-book and made big books for each rhyme. I wrote the rhymes on sentence strips, with matching pictures from the mini-books, and I placed these in the Pocket Chart Station. The CD and minibooks can go in the Listening Station.
